Our mission
Antivirus marketing rarely matches lab reality. BenchmarkLab exists to close that gap: every score we publish traces back to a repeatable test we ran ourselves, against a live threat feed, on real hardware — not a vendor-supplied benchmark.
How we got here
BenchmarkLab started as an internal testing rig for a small security research team frustrated by how little independent, transparent performance data existed for consumer antivirus suites. Six years and 50+ test cycles later, the same sandbox infrastructure now backs every review on this site.
How we test
Every suite runs through the same malware sandbox, the same performance harness, and the same pricing math — no vendor gets to grade its own homework.
